This collection of photos was gathered over the course of 2025 to document my work in preparation for my first solo museum exhibition. It was an intensive year of ideas, making and problem solving involving ceramics and fabric – making clay sculptures and vessels and hand sewing a small series of quilts. Each piece of work was considered carefully in relation to my chosen artefact and in relation to each other. It was my intention throughout to build something cohesive and exciting to reflect the joyous character of the little hen spigot. I loved every part of the process and it was a long journey from sketching ideas on my iPad to hiring a van to bring the work to Limerick. This video reel gives a flavour of what that was like. I’ve used the song ‘Favourite’ by the Irish band ‘Fontaines DC.’
